TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2 - WEEK 3

WEEK 3 Third week of our second phase teaching practice has been done successfully from November 18 to 22.On monday, a special assembly was conducted in the school to honour state science fair participants and physics sir. It was a great gesture from the part of school to motivate such talented students and teachers like this. It will surely inspire students to show their skill in the world. On friday NAS exam was conducted in the school .Half of the students are not interested in studies. It was very sad to see such students who don't know the importance of education. I need to improve my teaching skill and knowledge for inspiring such students and make them motivated to study. This school is really feeling like my home and I am very grateful to teach in this school. I need to impart creativity and innovation in my work. Another good week of my teaching practice has gone and I feel much adapted with the school environment.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2 - WEEK 2

Week 2 of my teaching practice was done sucessfully from Nov 11 to Nov 15. It was a great experience for me to teach in the school. Most of the students are not interested in studies and they are coming to the school just for timepass and enjoyment. Teaching in this period is very challenging as the dignity of this profession is decreasing. Portions are going correctly and I got proper periods for completing lessons.In association with children's day on Nov 14 special assembly was conducted and several programs were presented by students including patriotic song, action song, light music etc. It was a great experience to be a part of this.

TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 2 - WEEK 1

WEEK 1 Second phase of our teaching practice started on 6/11/2024 Wednesday. It was a great experience to come back to the same school. Students showed their love towards us so as the teachers. Even though we came back to the same school I felt it like a fresh start.Nadeem sir came for observation on 8/11/24 and i took 3rd lesson plan of the poem song of the flower.After three days of this  week, I feel quite overloaded with my work. But it was my duty to teach students so i am happy to do my work. Now I feel quite confident to teach than my first phase. My main concern is the class management which is very difficult for me. Some students are not interested in studies and they disturb the whole class. I tried to be more strict in the class but I think that's not suit me. It was very nice to start new journey of my teaching.

E-CONTENT

ICT

In today's digital age, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. From communication and information gathering to entertainment and education, technology plays a vital role in shaping our experiences. In the classroom, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has revolutionised the way we learn and teach, offering a wide range of benefits that enhance the educational experience.  As a teacher, I used ICT to teach students at GHS VAZHAMUTTOM . This experience allowed me to witness firsthand the impact of ICT on student learning and engagement. Students were more engaged and motivated, and they demonstrated a deeper understanding of the material. The effective ICT integration can amplify student attention and interest, creating a dynamic learning environment that prepares students for success in the digital age.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 9

Week nine starts from October 21 to October 25. It was the last week of my first phase teaching practice. This week was overall a pleasant week in the teaching practice. I gained lot of knowledge as how to work with school environment and with students. In this week i did my conscientization program and achievement test on October 24 and group workshop on 22nd October. I have successfully completed 40 lesson plan in this phase and I am grateful for the constant support that I got from the teachers of the school. They were the guiding lights who showed me the right path to become a good teacher.This phase is one of the most important parts of my teaching career, as I have learned many lessons regarding the teaching-learning process. As a student teacher, I viewed this opportunity as a way to improve the professional aspects of being a teacher.
