DISCUSSION LESSON PLAN

As part of BEd curriculum, for discussion lesson plan we students were splitted into 3 groups in my group we were 4 members Abhijith v chirayath,Neena s,Anupama l s and Reshma g r .Creating a discussion lesson plan was an insightful exercise, emphasizing the importance of structured dialogue in the classroom. The process involved selecting a relevant topic, formulating open-ended questions, and anticipating diverse viewpoints. This planning highlighted the role of the teacher as a facilitator, guiding discussions to ensure inclusivity and critical thinking. Implementing the lesson revealed the value of active student engagement and peer learning. It underscored the need for flexibility to adapt to the flow of conversation. Overall, this experience reinforced the significance of thoughtful preparation in fostering a dynamic and interactive learning environment.

LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

The field trip to the Legislative Assembly in Trivandrum was an eye-opening experience. Observing a live session provided a deep understanding of parliamentary procedures and legislative processes. Interacting with members of the assembly offered insights into the challenges and responsibilities of governance. The guided tour showcased the rich history and architectural splendor of the assembly building. Learning about the state's legislative framework and witnessing democracy in action was both inspiring and educational. This trip enhanced our appreciation for civic engagement and the importance of informed participation in the democratic process. Overall, it was an invaluable and enlightening experience.

VELLAR CRAFT VILLAGE

The field trip to Vellar Craft Village was an enriching experience, blending education and culture. We observed artisans skillfully crafting traditional items, highlighting the village's rich heritage. The hands-on workshops allowed us to try our hand at pottery and weaving, deepening our appreciation for these crafts. Interacting with the artisans provided insight into their lives and the challenges they face in preserving their traditions. The scenic surroundings and vibrant atmosphere of the village added to the charm of the trip. Overall, it was a valuable opportunity to connect with local culture and understand the significance of sustaining traditional crafts.

SUPW

SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) integrates practical skills with academic learning, enhancing holistic education. It develops essential life skills like crafts, cooking, and gardening while fostering social awareness and responsibility through community service projects. SUPW promotes traits such as diligence, patience, and teamwork, encouraging creativity and problem-solving. These activities prepare students for real-world challenges, building a strong work ethic and practical skills valuable for future careers. Overall, SUPW enriches education by blending theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, making students more adaptable, responsible, and innovative individuals.                     I decided to make a new candle with the remaining wax from the used candles.

VEDIO SCRIPT

We English optional students at BNV College of Teacher Education had the chance to participate in video scripting as part of our B.Ed program. Not only was this an enriching experience, but it was also very educational. Two groups were formed out of the entire class. Christamol, Gayathri, Akhila, Amala, Abhijith, and Shilpa were the people in our group. For all of us, working on the video scripting project for R.K. Narayan's The Trio has been fascinating and transforming.
