TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 3

The third week of teaching practice was done successfully and in this week onam exam started from Tuesday. So there was only monday we have our class and in other days only exams were there. Teachers gave some duties for us in the examination days which we done pleasantly. Substitution in exam hall was one duty when teachers are busy or in emergency. It was a great experience for me to be a invigilator in the exam hall as it was my first experience. I have done this work sincerely and with utmost happiness. Serving tea and snacks for teachers was another duty given to us and they also give us these which show their love and care towards us. In the morning gate duty and in the evening bus duty was done throughout the week. There was no special programs or occasions were there because of examination. Some works for next lesson plans were done in free time. Teachers are very friendly and caring towards us and it is very pleasing. Students too are like this apart from their some naughtiness. These days are really enjoyable and memorable. The moulding of future teacher is going greatly and effectively in right place and right time.

MICRO TEACHING

As part of a Bachelor of Education (BEd) curriculum, I had to conduct classes focused on two skills: introducing a lesson and utilizing the blackboard effectively. Introducing a lesson involves capturing students' attention, stating clear objectives, connecting to prior knowledge, and outlining the lesson content to engage and prepare students for new learning experiences.                       Blackboard skills involve writing legibly, organizing content clearly, using space efficiently, and highlighting key points with different colors or underlining. Effective blackboard use aids visual learning, keeps students engaged, and enhances the overall teaching experience.        It was a wonderful experience taking classes, learning how to conduct them effectively, and gaining insight into my teaching methods. This experience helped me understand and correct my mistakes, enhancing my skills as an educator.
